Ladies Conference

Post by Amys Auntie on Fri Jun 05, 2015 4:01 pm

Tomorrow I'm off to the 'Woman Alive' ladies conference in Woking. It will be a bit of an early start but looking forward to listening to Jennifer Rees Larcome and participating in a couple of workshops. Also hoping to catch up with some people who love their books so we can discuss what is top of everyone's pops at the present time which will probably mean even more to add to my wish list!!
Btw - I'm told there are spaces left for anyone to pay at the door.

Oh, it was a day I really didn't want to end. Jennifer Rees Larcomb was incredible and the workshops I went to were brilliant. I will go next time because it was well organised and the worship was incredible.

I've never heard Jennifer Rees Larcombe speak. I real the book 'Tails I Lose' by her son. Amazing story. They seem like such an incredible family.

Sue, because of the links between WomanAlive and Aslan (as their named source for the titles they review in each edition) we've set up a WA zone on the forum for discussing the books and articles that come up in each magazine :-)
Enjoy, and happy posting!
