Scary Close - Donald Miller

Just wondering whether anyone has read this yet and what they thought?
Looks like an interesting subject line, but the blurb seems to just be biographical.

I was considering reading this too but got put off for the same reason, especially when i saw a review from Amy Boucher Pye who heads up the book club for Woman Alive magazine, and the review (while still positive) confirmed my concerns.
Actually 'concerns' seems like a harsh word. I bought Scary Close because it seemed like an interesting read (especially when you come from a family that's not really big on closeness and intimacy), but its stayed sat on my shelf because i wanted something proactive and practical that focused on healing broken connection with God, rather than just another 'true story' style book that i may relate to, but then just end up sitting with that empathy and doing nothing, you know? So haven't really committed any time to it yet and been reading other things instead, so its just sat there.
Anyway, if you do read it - let me know what you think!
