My Journey So Far - Andrew White

Post by Aslan_HQ on Wed Nov 04, 2015 12:44 pm

My Journey So Far is the amazing autobiography from Canon Andrew White, also known as 'The Vicar of Baghdad'.
‘The Vicar of Baghdad’ is something of a legend: a man of great charm and energy, whose personal suffering has not deflected him from his important ministry of reconciliation. Since ordination he has had a considerable role in the work of reconciliation, locally and internationally. Trusted by those in power who trust very few; often in danger, and always in pain from multiple sclerosis, he has nevertheless been able to mediate between opposing extremes.
Andrew appeared in The Independent this week as part of his book tour, discussing what happened when he invited ISIS to dinner.

Couldn't sleep the other night so ended up watching interviews and talks on YouTube (as you do!)
One of them was this video from an Eric Metaxas interview with Andrew White. So good, and so interesting!
Put 'My Journey So Far' right to the top of my To Read list!
